In 2025, Leapton Energy’s China EPC team successfully completed the construction of three distributed photovoltaic (PV) power stations for CNNC Technology, a subsidiary of China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), with a total installed capacity of 3.7MW.

CNNC is China’s only central state-owned enterprise that covers the entire nuclear industry chain, including nuclear energy development, fuel cycle, equipment manufacturing, and new energy. As a key player in China’s energy sector, CNNC is actively promoting the transition toward green and low-carbon energy.

The project adopted Leapton’s high-efficiency solar modules and grid-connected solutions, designed for optimal performance and long-term reliability. Since grid connection, the three PV plants have been operating stably, generating over 4 million kWh of electricity in the first year, significantly reducing electricity costs and carbon emissions for CNNC’s factories.

This successful project demonstrates Leapton Energy’s strong capability in commercial and industrial distributed PV solutions and marks another milestone in its collaboration with central state-owned enterprises. Leapton Energy remains committed to advancing the use of clean energy and contributing to global carbon neutrality.
